Disposal and Recycling of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)

How to dispose of electrical and electronic equipment

As a rule, electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) should not be disposed of with household waste. EEE may contain harmful substances which, if exposed, could have detrimental effects on the environment, nature, and human health.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Products that should not be disposed of with household waste will be marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol.

Recycling options

1️⃣ Donation

Donate the used item to a charity if it is still functional.

2️⃣ Collection points

Take the item to an authorised recycling collection point run by local authorities. For information on collection points in Italy, visit the RAEE Coordination Centre.

3️⃣ National campaigns

Participate in national recycling campaigns such as:

📦 "Make the raw materials hidden in your home available"
🔋 "Collect spent batteries"

4️⃣ Delivery take-back service

For some heavy and bulky items, you can arrange for free collection of your old device upon delivery of the new one.

How to do it:

Add the item you want to your cart and proceed to checkout
Select "Desired delivery date" as the shipping method
Order the disposal of old devices directly through the calendar

5️⃣ Landbell Group

You can request free removal of your old appliance via Landbell Group.

Note: It may take up to 15 business days to collect the item.

Personal data removal

If you own a personal electronic device (computer, smartphone, camera), you must ensure you delete all personal or confidential data before recycling it.

Before resetting your device:

💾 Back up all sensitive data (photos, contacts, messages)
♻️ Restore the device to factory settings
🚪 Log out of all accounts (cloud, social media, apps)
📱 Remove SIM cards and memory cards

Do not return damaged batteries
Use sturdy containers
Mark with "LITHIUM BATTERIES FOR RECYCLING"
